#GR8 Connect is proud to present its portfolio of unique and interactive virtual experiences that benefit worthy causes fighting the COVID-19 pandemic around the world.
Philanthropy is an important pillar of GR8 ‘s values. We are trying to fight the virus in our own GR8 way and a percentage of all money raised through #GR8Connect will be donated to various charitable causes. We have invited each #GR8Connecter to choose a local cause close to their heart that is supporting those affected by the Coronavirus. Please click on the virtual experiences to see which charities, local hospitals and vulnerable groups will benefit from your donation. We promise our clients the peace of mind of having made an impactful donation whilst enjoying a once in a lifetime experience.

Coronavirus. Fondo di mutuo soccorso
The Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala has set up a Mutual Aid Fund intended to help, immediately, those who more than others are put in difficulty by the spread of the Corona Virus and, subsequently, to support the resumption of city activities with more structural interventions who will have to support the reconstruction of the socio-economic fabric of the city, with particular attention to small businesses and economic operators. The fund is in addition to the 3 million euro allocation already approved by the City Council and is open to the economic participation of individual citizens, businesses and associations who wish to contribute. The resources will be distributed to the weaker sections of the population affected by the slowdown of the economy or as a consequence of the measures taken by the authorities to contain the epidemic. Particular attention will be given, in a first phase, to the unemployed due to the Covid-19 crisis, to fixed-term employees whose contract has not been renewed, to temporary workers, to self-employed workers in crisis, to family workers and other categories of workers fragile. Precisely to guarantee the possibility of quickly reaching the individual people in difficulty, the Municipality has decided to collaborate with the Archdiocese of Milan which established the San Giuseppe Fund . Thanks to the contributions of the Municipality of Milan (2 million euros) and the Archdiocese (2 million euros), the San Giuseppe Fund initially has 4 million euros available. The San Giuseppe Fund is managed by Caritas Ambrosiana through its territorial network.
